Caramel banana (vegan) A true burst of flavor (and vegan!). It's hard to believe it only has two ingredients, because it's so delicious it's almost unreal. We like to be honest, so it's good to let you know that making this empanada is no easy task. We hand-peel each banana, removing every imperfection, and then slice them one by one—by hand, yes, with a knife. Then comes the tricky part: mixing those slices with the caramel hazelnut cream. The secret is working at just the right temperature to allow the mixture without crushing the slices.
